Quilled Butterfly Tutorial:
Material required:
1) 3mm 16" Quilling strips ( yellow n black colour)
2) 5mm 16" Quilling strips ( black colour)
3) Quilling board
4) Pins
5)Quilling slotted tool
6) glue
Procedure:
1) To make wings: Roll 16 inches yellow quilling strips and make 16 coils of same size.
2) Shape the coils into Tear drop. With help of the pins, glue the quilled pieces to form a rough wing shape. Leave it for few minutes.
3) Adjust and Wrap 3mm black quilling strip around the quilled pieces to create a wing shape.
4) Body: To make a body of butterfly, 5mm 16 inches two quilling strips will be needed. Roll 1 strip into dome shape and other into cone shape.
5) Assemble the quilled pieces and glue them to form a butterfly body.
6) Glue the wings to the body and your butterfly is complete.
