Quilled earrings

Here are some of the Quilled earrings made by me. Last week went busy doing these earrings.I made 25 pairs of quilled earrings. Will be posting it soon...

For most of my Quilled earrings, I used 3mm paper quilling strips. This time I tried making rectangular and square shaped earrings. To make these quilled earring, I have used tight coils, teardrop shape. In 3rd earring, I have also tried to use two colour paper strips. At the end, I have applied 2 coats of varnish to get a extra glaze. Coats of Varnish also makes these quilled earrings moisture and sweat resistant.

  1. Lovely quilling. I went through your blog and I think you are such a multi talented person. I am also in a earring making spree. I am your follower but I am not sure why I don't get updates from your blog.
  2. WOw... love these pics.. especially their jewellery!
Thank you for sharing these pics.... i've pinned few of them to my boards!
  3. Very beautiful, very intricate.I'm new to this, could you tell me what you use to seal the work?white glue seems to remove some of the coils and makes mine appear a bit untidy and less intricate.
  4. Thank you,Sagorika. I use white glue to seal the work. While working I just make sure that my hands are clean..no glue on my fingers.
  5. great ideas. I'm starting out on quilling and since I love earrings, I will explore these designs. But the glue make them look glossy or plasticky, thereby losing some of the charm of quilling. Is there any other way to fix the paper without this effect?
Thank you!
