Quilled Project: Quilled Eccentric coil flowers..

Hello and welcome to another article on Kalanirmitee.

To create a Quilled Eccentric coil flowers, we need following material:
1.Paper base: Off-White colour Handmade Paper
2.Paper quilling strips: 3mm ( blue and yellow) quilling strips are used to make flowers.

 Quilling  Tools:
1. Slotted tool
2. Fine tipped tweezers
3. Scissors
4. Circle template board
5. Straight pins
6. Corkboard

Procedure:
1. Flower: Make a basic closed coil using circle template board/ corkboard. Pin the center o the coil to one side. To even out the coils use the tweezers. Apply glue over the paper edges between the pins and let it dry. After glue is dried take out the pins. Your eccentric coil petal is ready. Assemble it to make a flower. To make center of the flower, make a tight coil and shape it into cup shape.
2. Leaves: Marquise shape is used to make leaves. Added some scrolls with leaves.

Paper Quilling is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs.

The paper is rolled, looped, curled, twisted and otherwise manipulated to create shapes which make up designs to decorate greetings cards, pictures, boxes, eggs, and to make models, jewelry, mobiles etc. Quilling starts with rolling a strip of paper into a coil and then pinching the coil into shapes that can be glued together. 

There are advanced techniques and different sized paper that are used to create 3D miniatures, abstract art, and quilled flowers among many things.
